2006 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 2SECTION Amplifier

Two types of amplifiers are available for this vehicle:

  • Bose® sound system. The 8 channel non-GMLAN amplifier is mounted in the trunk.
  • Bose® 5.1 Cabin Surround sound system. It includes Bose Audio Pilot® noise compensation technology. When activated, a microphone monitors interior ambient noise allowing the amplifier to continuously adjust the audio system equalization to compensate for background noise. It is most effective at lower radio volume settings where background noise can affect how well the music is heard. At higher volume settings, where the music is much louder than the background noise, there might be little or no adjustments made. The 10 channel GMLAN amplifier is mounted in the trunk.

When to See a Mechanic
