Preliminary Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill)Β  or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac-N-Fill)Β .
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
  3. Remove air cleaner housing. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement

Tip:Β  Using J 38185Β  reposition the radiator outlet hose clamps. See Special ToolsΒ .
