2006 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 2SECTION Removal Procedure
CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution .

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect ProcedureΒ .
  2. If necessary, remove the right front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the right fender wheelhouse inner panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Extension Replacement .
  4. Remove the engine wiring harness nut (4).
  5. Remove the engine wiring harness lead (1) from the starter.

  7. Remove the positive battery cable nut (7).
  8. Remove the positive battery cable lead (8) from the starter.

  10. Remove the starter motor bolts.
  11. Remove the starter motor.
