Removal Procedure

2006 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 2SECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the coolant recovery reservoir bolt and reposition the reservoir.

  3. Disconnect the battery negative cable from the battery negative terminal. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect ProcedureΒ .
  4. Disconnect the battery positive cable from the battery positive terminal. Refer to Battery Positive Cable Replacement (Primary)Β  or Battery Positive Cable Replacement (Secondary)Β .
  5. Remove the battery limiter from the vehicle if equipped.

  7. Remove the battery hold-down bolt and retainer.
  8. Remove the battery.

  10. Remove the battery tray bolts.
  11. Remove the battery tray from the vehicle.
