- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Disconnect the auxiliary battery negative cable (2). Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .
- Unsnap the positive battery cable cap.
- Disconnect the positive battery cable (1).
- Remove the auxiliary positive cable from the junction block.
- Remove the cable clip bolt (5) at the frame.
- Remove the auxiliary battery cable.
