- Disconnect the auxiliary battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .
- Remove the positive battery cable nut from the junction block.
- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the auxiliary cable clip bolt from the frame.
- Remove the starter lead nut.
- Remove the auxiliary positive battery cable from the starter stud.
- Remove the auxiliary positive battery cable.
