2006 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 2SECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the auxiliary positive battery cable.
  2. Install the auxiliary positive battery cable to the starter stud.
  3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the starter lead nut.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  6. Install the auxiliary cable clip bolt to the frame.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. Lower the vehicle.

  9. Install the auxiliary positive battery cable to the junction block.
  10. Install the auxiliary positive battery cable nut to the junction block.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nut to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  11. Connect the auxiliary battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect ProcedureΒ .
