2006 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 2SECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Position the power seat switch bracket (2) to the seat cushion frame, if equipped.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the screws (3) to retain the power seat switch bracket.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the bolts (4) retaining the seat cushion frame to the adjuster.
  6. Install the bolts (4) to retain the seat cushion frame to the adjuster.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the screws to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  8. Install the bolts (7) to retain the seat cushion frame.
  9. Install the bolts (7).

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolts to 32 N.m (24 lb ft).

  10. Install the seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - FrontΒ .
  11. Install the front seat into the vehicle. Refer to Seat ReplacementΒ .
  12. CAUTION: To avoid personal injuries, re-zero the passenger presence system whenever you remove or replace the seat cushion or trim. Failure to do so may cause the system to malfunction.
  13. Re-zero the inflatable restraint passenger presence system whenever the seat cushion or any component of the passenger presence system is removed. Refer to Passenger Presence System Programming and Setup .
