Removal Procedure

- Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement .
- Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the wiper motor.
- Remove the 4 bolts retaining the wiper system drive module.
- Remove the wiper drive system module from the vehicle.
- Disconnect the drive link from the wiper motor crank arm using the J 39232 . See Special Tools .
- Remove the 2 bolts retaining the wiper motor.
- Remove the wiper motor from the wiper drive system module.
