2006 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.3 T, 4L60E/M30SECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the hood.

  3. Remove the cable (1) from the hood latch (3).

  5. Remove the cable (1) from the retainer on the radiator support.
  6. Push the cable (1) and the grommet into the cab from the engine compartment.
  7. Remove the left side hinge pillar trim panel from the body. Refer to Trim Replacement - Hinge Pillar in Interior Trim.
  8. Remove the screws retaining the cable handle (3) to the body.
  9. Remove the handle (3) from the body.
  10. Remove the cable (1) from the vehicle.
