Removal Procedure
2005 Chevrolet Optra5 Base, StandardSECTION Removal Procedure
- Relieve the coolant system pressure.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor connector.
- Carefully remove the ECT sensor from the cylinder head underneath the electronic ignition (EI) system ignition coil.

Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution
in Cautions and Notices.
NOTE:
Use care when handling the coolant sensor. Damage to the coolant sensor will affect the operation of the fuel control system.
