2005 Chevrolet Malibu LSSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Disconnect the electronic ignition (EI) module harness connector.
  3. Remove the ignition coil housing attachment bolts and remove the ignition coil housing.
  4. IMPORTANT: Make sure that the water and debris are blown out of the spark plug holes before removing the spark plugs.
  5. Remove the spark plugs using a 5/8 inch spark plug socket.
