2005 Chevrolet Malibu LSSECTION Removal Procedure

- Record the preset radio station.
- Turn the ignition OFF.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
- Remove the knock sensor (KS) harness connector.
- Remove the KS from the retaining clip by inserting a flat-bladed screwdriver between the connector and the clip while sliding the connector upward.
- Remove the KS.
