Removal Procedure

2005 Chevrolet Impala Base, 3.8 KSECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument cluster trim panel. Refer to Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (Impala)  or Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (Monte Carlo) .
  2. Fig 1: Multifunction Alarm Module & Electrical Connector

  3. Remove the screws from the radio delete plate.
  4. Remove the radio delete plate from the instrument panel.

  6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the multifunction alarm module.
  7. Remove the multifunction alarm module from the instrument panel by lifting up and out.
