Installation Procedure

2003 Chevrolet Venture Base, Van Cargo ExtendedSECTION Installation Procedure
  1. Install the heater element.
  2. Install the seat back cover (1).
  3. Install the seat back cover retainer rings (2).
  4. Secure the seat back cover to the foam pad with the hook and loop retainers.
  5. Install the seat back to the seat cushion.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Install the front seat recliner bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 48 N.m (35 lb ft).

  7. Install the J retainer (1) to the bottom edge of the seat back cover.
  8. Secure the seat back recliner covers in place.
  9. Install the recliner handle and cap. Refer to SEAT BACK RECLINER HANDLE REPLACEMENT - FRONT   . 
  10. Install the finish covers. Refer to SEAT ADJUSTER TRACK COVER REPLACEMENT - FRONT   . 
  11. Install the map pocket net. Refer to MAP POCKET NET REPLACEMENT - FRONT SEAT   . 
  12. Install the head restraint. Refer to HEAD RESTRAINT REPLACEMENT - FRONT SEAT   . 
  13. Install the front seat. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - BUCKET   .
