Installation Procedure
2003 Chevrolet Venture Base, Van Cargo ExtendedSECTION Installation Procedure
- Install the rear seat back pad to the seat back frame.
- Install the rear seat back cover the foam pad.
- Secure the rear seat back cover to the foam pad using retainer rings (2) and the hook and loop retainers.
- Install the armrest. Refer to ARMREST REPLACEMENT - REAR SEAT .
- Install the rear seat back to the rear seat cushion.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the recliner bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the recliner bolts to 32 N.m (24 lb ft).
- Install the rear seat back foam and cover over the recliner bolts.
- Install the rear seat back recliner cover. Refer to SEAT BACK RECLINER COVER REPLACEMENT - REAR .
- Install the J retainer (1) at the bottom edge of the rear seat back cover.
- Install the rear seat back finish panel. Refer to SEAT BACK FILLER PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR .
- Install the finish covers. Refer to SEAT TRIM REPLACEMENT - SIDE .
- Install the head restraint. Refer to HEAD RESTRAINT REPLACEMENT - REAR SEAT .
- Install the second row captain's chair. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR .
