- Install the battery into the transmitter.
- Reassemble the transmitter.
- Inspect the transmitter halves. Ensure that the transmitter halves are snapped together in order to prevent water intrusion.
- Synchronize the transmitter as needed. Refer to TRANSMITTER SYNCHRONIZATION .
- Verify the transmitter operation. Refer to KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION .
