Removal Procedure

2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM in Air Bag Restraint Systems.
  2. Remove the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to STEERING COLUMN TRIM COVERS REPLACEMENTΒ Β  .
  3. Use the tilt lever to tilt the column to the UP position.
