Removal (8.1L)
Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove drive belt and upper fan shroud. Remove indicator tube bracket bolts, and reposition bracket. Remove heater inlet pipe bolt from bracket. Remove indicator tube bracket. Remove generator bolts and reposition generator. See Figure . Reposition positive cable boot at generator. Remove positive cable nut and cable. Disconnect generator electrical connectors.
