2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. If necessary, remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L Engines) or Engine Sight Shield Replacement (6.0L Engine w/RPOs Y91 and Z88) in Engine Mechanical - 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L.
  2. Remove the engine wiring harness ground bolt.
  3. Reposition the engine wiring harness ground and ground strap.

  5. Remove the ground strap nut from the stud at the front of dash.
  6. Remove the ground strap from the stud.
