2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: The flywheel spacer (if applicable) must be removed prior to pilot bearing installation.
  1. Install a 5/8 inch washer (1) onto the J 38836Β  or equivalent.

  2. Install a NEW clutch pilot bearing (2) onto the tool.

  4. Install the NEW clutch pilot bearing into the crankshaft using J 38836Β  .

  6. Inspect the clutch pilot bearing for proper installation.
  7. Install the clutch assembly. Refer to Clutch Assembly ReplacementΒ .
