2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the IAH.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the IAH to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  2. Fig 1: Intake Air Heater

  3. Install the IAH wire.
  4. Install the IAH nut.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nut to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  5. Install the upper intake manifold cover.
  6. Install the upper intake manifold cover to the outlet duct.
  7. Tighten the outlet duct clamp at the upper intake manifold cover.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the clamp to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
