IMPORTANT: Lightly coat the MAP sensor seal with clean engine oil before installing the sensor.
  1. Install the MAP sensor (1).

  3. Connect the MAP sensor electrical connector (1).

  5. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L Engines) or Engine Sight Shield Replacement (6.0L Engine w/RPOs Y91 and Z88) in Engine Mechanical-4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L.
