2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Assembly Procedure

  1. Install the flow control spring (2) to the pump housing assembly (1).
  2. Install the control valve assembly (3) to the flow control spring (2).

  3. Lubricate the O-ring seal (3) with power steering fluid.
  4. Install the O-ring seal (3).
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the connector and fitting assembly (3) to the pump housing (1).

    TightenΒ 

    Tighten the connector and fitting assembly (3) to 75 N.m (55 lb ft).
