- Install the flow control spring (2) to the pump housing assembly (1).
- Install the control valve assembly (3) to the flow control spring (2).
- Lubricate the O-ring seal (3) with power steering fluid.
- Install the O-ring seal (3).NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the connector and fitting assembly (3) to the pump housing (1).
Tighten
Tighten the connector and fitting assembly (3) to 75 N.m (55 lb ft).
