- Install the exhaust manifold pipe and new seal to the vehicle.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the exhaust manifold pipe to manifold flange bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the exhaust manifold pipe to manifold flange bolts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
- Install the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (2.2L) or Catalytic Converter Replacement (Pickup 4.3L) or Catalytic Converter Replacement (Utility 4.3L) .
- Lower the vehicle.
