2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure

Important:Β  You must perform the new body control module (BCM) setup when replacing the BCM. Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) PROGRAMMING/RPO CONFIGURATIONΒ  .

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the console accessory wiring junction block. Refer to CONSOLE ELECTRICAL CENTER OR JUNCTION BLOCK REPLACEMENT .
  3. Rotate the BCM retaining lever (1) to release the BCM from the console accessory wiring junction block.
  4. Remove the BCM (2) from the console accessory wiring junction block.
