- Partially raise the window.
- Remove the upper trim panel extension. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - UPPER EXTENSIONΒ .
- Remove the manual door-lock lever.
- Remove the manual window handle, if equipped. Refer to WINDOW HANDLE REPLACEMENTΒ .
- Remove the door switch panel, if equipped. Refer to SWITCH REPLACEMENT - DOOR LOCK AND SIDE WINDOW - DRIVERΒ and SWITCH REPLACEMENT - DOOR LOCK AND SIDE WINDOW - PASSENGERΒ .
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOORΒ .
- Remove the water deflector. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOORΒ .
- Remove the front bolt attachment from the window run channel.
Important:Β Do not remove the bolts.
- Loosen the 2 retaining bolts (2) from the window assembly.
- Remove the window glass (3) from the door by sliding the window glass out through the top.
