Transaxle Mount: Installation

2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation

  1. Position the transaxle mount to the frame. Hand start the transaxle mount bracket to transaxle bolts. Install the transaxle bracket bolts. See Figure . Start with the forward lower bolt and work clockwise to tighten the transaxle bracket bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ  .
  2. Remove the support from the transaxle. Install the transaxle bracket to the transaxle mount upper nuts. See Figure . Tighten the transaxle mount upper nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ  .
  3. Install the left engine splash shield. Install the left front tire and wheel. Lower the vehicle.
