- Install the low coolant switch to the tank.
- Place the surge tank in the vehicle.CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
- Install the surge tank bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Connect the coolant return hose.
- Connect the coolant hoses to the surge tank.
- Using the J 38185, reposition and install the hose clamps at the surge tank.
- Connect the low coolant switch electrical connector.
- Fill the cooling system at the radiator surge tank. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
