- Remove the front door locking system module. Refer to Locking System Module Replacement - Front Door .
- Press down on the locking tab and remove the front door inside handle.
- Disconnect the front door inside handle rods from the rod guide.
- Disconnect the front door inside handle rods from the front door lock.
- Using a small flat-bladed tool, press the front door lock retainer in and slide forward to disengage from the front door locking system module.
- Remove the front door lock from the front door locking system module.
