2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front door locking system module. Refer to Locking System Module Replacement - Front DoorΒ .
  2. Press down on the locking tab and remove the front door inside handle.

  3. Disconnect the front door inside handle rods from the rod guide.
  4. Disconnect the front door inside handle rods from the front door lock.

  5. Using a small flat-bladed tool, press the front door lock retainer in and slide forward to disengage from the front door locking system module.
  6. Remove the front door lock from the front door locking system module.
