Installation Procedure

2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the seat adjuster (3) to the seat cushion frame (2).
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the seat adjuster bolts (1) to the seat cushion frame (3).

    Tighten 

    Tighten bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the power seat switch bracket to the seat cushion frame. Install the power seat switch bracket screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  4. Connect the seat back recliner cable to the seat cushion frame.
  5. Install the seat back with recliner to the seat cushion frame. Install the seat back recliner bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

  6. Install the front seat cushion cover and pad to the seat cushion frame. Refer to Seat Cushion Cover Replacement - Front  .
