Chime Level Adjustment
Important:Β On vehicles with option code UM8 (Navigation Radio) the chime level volume can be changed through the set up screen under Chime Normal/High or with the Tech 2. On vehicles with out option code UM8 (Navigation Radio) the following procedure can be used to change the chime level volume.
In order to adjust the chime level, perform the following steps:
- Turn the ignition ON.
- Turn the radio OFF.
- Press and hold the radio push-button 6 until either LOUD or NORMAL appears on the radio display. The chime sounds three times for each volume change.
- To toggle the setting, press and hold the radio push-button 6 again.
