2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Mark the upper hood hinge location to the hood using a grease pencil.
  3. Remove the Assist rod from the hood. Refer to Assist Rod Replacement - HoodΒ .
  4. Remove the hood hinge to hood bolts, with an assistant.

  6. Remove the hood from the vehicle, with an assistant.
