Installation Procedure
2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

- Install the fender to the vehicle.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
- Install the bolts to the fender at the front compartment side rail. Tighten the bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
- Install the bolts to the fender at the rocker panel. See Figure. Tighten the bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
- Install the bolts to the fender at the door hinge pillar. Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the bolts to the fender at the lower engine compartment side rail. See Figure. Tighten the bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
- Install the washer solvent container (right fender). Refer to WASHER FLUID LEVEL SWITCH & WASHER FLUID CONTAINER .
- Install the front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner ReplacementΒ .
- Install the hood hinge. Refer to Hood Hinge ReplacementΒ .
- Install the hood. Refer to Hood ReplacementΒ .
- Install the rocker finish panel. Refer to MOLDING REPLACEMENT - ROCKER PANEL .
- Install the headlamp. Refer to HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY OR HEADLAMP BULB AND/OR CORNERING, SIDEMARKER, PARK, TURN SIGNAL BULB REPLACEMENT .
- Install the body side molding, if required. Refer to MOLDING REPLACEMENT - BODY SIDE .
