2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Pull the rearward edge of the access opening cover outboard on the left side of the instrument panel (I/P) to release the retainers. Use a plastic flat-bladed tool as an aid if necessary.
  2. Release the forward edge of the access opening cover from behind the hinge pillar and remove the cover.
  3. Remove the headlamp switch screws.

  4. Carefully pull the headlamp switch outboard away from the I/P to access the electrical connector.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlamp switch.
