Strut Assembly: Removal
2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Removal

- Remove the strut-to-body mount nuts.
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
- Remove the stabilizer shaft link from the strut. See STABILIZER SHAFT LINKΒ .
- Remove the bolt from the brake hose bracket and the strut assembly.
- Scribe the strut to the knuckle. See Figure.
CAUTION:
The knuckle must be retained after the strut-to-knuckle bolts have been removed. Failure to observe this may cause ball joint and/or wheel drive shaft damage.
