- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONSΒ . Disable air bag system. See ZONE 1Β under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
- Remove off-road skid plate, if equipped. Drill out rivets from applicable front end discriminating sensor. See Fig 1. Remove front end discriminating sensor.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Use NEW Mounting Rivets (15715058). Ensure arrow on front end discriminating sensor is installed pointing toward front of vehicle. Activate air bag system. See ZONE 1Β under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
