Calibration ROM check sum error detection is handled inside IPM. Microprocessor runs ROM check sum program to detect errorS after each power up. Program will run when system voltage is out of valid operating range. IPM reverts to base operation values for ROM data blocks that fail checksum test. Blocks of data that have not failed checksum test are not affected.
