- Grasp both sides of the quick connect fitting and twist 1/4 turn in each direction to loosen any dirt.
- Remove any dirt, dust, or other foreign material from the quick connect fitting with compressed air.
- Squeeze the release tabs on the plastic retainer.
- Pull the quick connect fuel fitting apart. Use a shop towel to catch any remaining fuel that may leak from the fuel line and fitting.

Wear safety glasses when using compressed air to prevent eye injury.
