Quick Connect Fitting(S) Service (Plastic Collar): Removal

  1. Grasp both sides of the quick connect fitting and twist 1/4 turn in each direction to loosen any dirt.
  2. WARNING: Wear safety glasses when using compressed air to prevent eye injury.
  3. Remove any dirt, dust, or other foreign material from the quick connect fitting with compressed air.
  4. Squeeze the release tabs on the plastic retainer.
  5. Pull the quick connect fuel fitting apart. Use a shop towel to catch any remaining fuel that may leak from the fuel line and fitting.
