Removal Procedure

2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transaxle from the vehicle. Refer to Transmission Replacement .
  2. Remove the torque dampener. Refer to Torque Dampener Removal .
  3. Remove the torque dampener and differential housing assembly. refer to Torque Dampener and Differential Housing with Fluid Pump Removal .
  4. Remove the 3 phase cable to stator bolts.
  5. Remove the cable to case retaining bolts.
  6. Remove the drive motor/generator power inverter module cable 3 phase assembly "A".
  7. Remove the case cover. Refer to Case Cover Removal .
  8. Remove the 3 phase cable to stator bolts.
  9. Remove the cable to case retaining bolts.
  10. Remove the drive motor/generator power inverter module cable 3 phase assembly "B".
