Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the radiator inlet hose. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LY7)Β  or Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LZ4)Β  or Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LAT)Β  or Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LE5)Β  or Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (HP5)Β .
  2. Remove the right engine mounting bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side .
1 Water Outlet Housing Bolt (Qty: 2)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure:Β 
Remove the water outlet housing bolts.

Tighten:Β  10 N.m (89 lb in)

3 Seal

Procedure

  1. Remove the water outlet housing seal. Discard the seal.
  2. Install a new water outlet housing seal.
