Installation Procedure
2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

- Position the support assembly to the vehicle.
- Install the support to body bolts and tighten to 170 N.m (125 lb ft).
- Install the adjustable link on the support assembly. Refer to Adjust Link ReplacementΒ .
- Connect the upper control arm to the support assembly. Refer to Rear Axle Upper Control Arm ReplacementΒ .
- Install the lower control arm to the support assembly. Refer to Rear Axle Lower Control Arm ReplacementΒ .
- Install the stabilizer shaft. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft ReplacementΒ .
- Install the stabilizer shaft links to the support. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link ReplacementΒ .
- If equipped with all wheel drive, install the rear drive axle. Refer to Differential Replacement .
- Install the exhaust muffler and resonator assembly. Refer to Exhaust Muffler Replacement (LAT or LE5) or Exhaust Muffler Replacement (LZ4) or Exhaust Muffler Replacement (LY7) or Exhaust Muffler Replacement (LCS) .
- Install the tires and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
- Lower the vehicle.
- Check the rear alignment. Refer to Wheel Alignment Measurement .
