- Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
- Remove the battery cable cooling air inlet duct plastic retainer (1).
- Remove the battery cable cooling air inlet duct (2).
- Disconnect any electrical harnesses attached to the battery box.
- Remove the battery box bolts (1).
- Remove the battery box (2).
