- Position the exhaust heat shield to the vehicle and place the rear of the shield under the catalytic converter heat shield.
- Install the exhaust heat shield nut.
Tighten: Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install NEW exhaust heat shield rivets.
- Install the manifold exhaust pipe. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Pipe Replacement (3.5L (L66)) .
- Install the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (2.2L (L61) and 2.4L (LAT)) .
