2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transmission control module (TCM), if equipped, from the mounting bracket and position aside.

  3. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  4. Disconnect the electronic brake control module (EBCM) electrical connector.

  6. Loosen the 2 insulator nuts on the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) assembly.
  7. Carefully lift the brake modulator assembly just enough to clear the bracket, then support the assembly.

  9. Remove the brake pressure modulator assembly bracket mounting bolts.
  10. Remove the bracket from the vehicle.
