- Disconnect the control assembly boot trim from the trim bezel.
- Gently pry up the window switch trim bezel.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors from the window switch trim bezel and remove the bezel.
- Disconnect the shift cables from the shift cable adjusters.
- Disconnect the shift cables from the control lever assembly housing by pressing the retainers together and lifting upward.
- Remove the nuts retaining the control lever assembly to the control lever assembly bracket.
