  1. Cover the mirror glass with tape.
  2. Rotate mirror glass to expose the outer edge.
  3. Insert a screwdriver or other flat-bladed tool 8.5 inches or longer and up to 0.4 inches wide into the slot between the mirror glass and mounting base as far as the tool will go.
  4. Gently pull up on the tool and twist the tool until the glass releases off the base.
  5. Remove the glass.
