  1. With an assistant, position the hood to the hinges.
  2. Align the hood hinges to the alignment marks on the hood.
  3. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the bolts that secure the hinge to the hood.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  5. Install the hood insulator, if equipped. Refer to Hood Insulator ReplacementΒ .
  6. Adjust the hood. Refer to Hood AdjustmentΒ .
  7. Remove the protective covering from the fenders.
  8. Remove the support and close the hood.
