  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Drain the coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling SystemΒ .
  3. Remove the battery box/UHFB assembly. Refer to Battery Box Replacement .
  4. Remove the coolant hose clamps and hoses from the coolant intake housing.
  5. Remove the lower radiator hose assembly from the coolant housing.

  7. Remove the coolant intake housing bolts.
  8. Remove the intake coolant housing and O-ring seal from the engine.
  9. Remove debris from the block mating surfaces.
