2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Clean and dry the area before installing new seals.
  2. Install the lower seals into position.
  3. Install the coolant bridge.
  4. Install the upper seals into position.
  5. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Install the coolant bridge bolt.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the coolant bridge bolt to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  7. Connect the electrical connector at the coolant bridge.
  8. Connect the coolant hoses at the coolant bridge.

  10. Install the intake manifold. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD .
  11. Connect the negative battery cable.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the battery terminal bolt to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).

  12. Fill the coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling SystemΒ .
