Installation Procedure
2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

- Clean and dry the area before installing new seals.
- Install the lower seals into position.
- Install the coolant bridge.
- Install the upper seals into position.
- Install the coolant bridge bolt.
Tighten:Β Tighten the coolant bridge bolt to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
- Connect the electrical connector at the coolant bridge.
- Connect the coolant hoses at the coolant bridge.
- Install the intake manifold. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
Tighten:Β Tighten the battery terminal bolt to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).
- Fill the coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling SystemΒ .
